Inspired by the straps found on soldiers’ bags she added thin straps to her former designs thus the 2.55 is created. The Chanel ‘2.55’ is still one of the brand’s best-selling bag styles to this day.
Who doesn’t know the Dior ‘Lady Dior’ bag? This very famous bag is made popular by the princess loved by many, Princess Diana. Although it was just a gift to the princess, Princess Diana’s love for this bag soon caught the attention of the public who eventually wanted their own version. Dior named the bag “Lady Dior” in honor of Princess Diana.

The Balenciaga ‘Motorcycle’ with its block shape, dangling tassels and well-placed stud details became instantly recognizable by the public. This bag just goes to show that even without the brand shown on the exterior, a bag can still shine.

The Hermès ‘Birkin’ is not a stranger in the fashion world. It has made its mark due to its style and class. But did you know that this bag was born in the sky? The British actress Jane Birkin, was sitting next to Jean-Loius Dumas, the Executive Chairman of Hermès (1978-2006), and complained that she couldn’t find a bag suitable for her needs as a young mom. As a creator, he immediately sketched a supple and spacious rectangular holdall with a burnished flap and saddle stitching. Thus, the Hermes Birkin was born.
